The synthetic series brings forth a set of paintings that place women next to plastic inflatable toys, be it life-sized zebras or miniature horses. Artists Sally Jane Fuerst and Luca Indraccolo worked together to put on the Peeps Exhibit display. The warehouse-like room proved to be a prime showcasing space for Fuerst and Indraccolo as they brought in the same props that they incorporated into their [oil canvas pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jeffrey-deitch-art-gallery). The portraits are remarkable realistic. The female subjects are depicted with exceptional attention to detail, many of which appear to be frozen in a picture form. The showings were also quite interactive, seen in the exchanges between the viewers and the [gigantic blow up objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iwagumi-air-scape). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/customization) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Inflatable Art:** Opportunity for artists to explore the use of inflatable objects in their artwork, bringing a unique and interactive element to their pieces. - **Realistic Portraits:** Growing interest in hyperrealistic portraiture, with artists focusing on capturing exceptional attention to detail and creating lifelike representations of their subjects. - **Interactive Exhibits:** Increasing demand for art exhibitions that offer interactive experiences, engaging viewers and encouraging them to interact with the artwork on display. ### Where This Applies - **Art:** Inflatable plastic paintings present an opportunity for artists to expand their creative boundaries and explore new mediums and forms of expression. - **Entertainment:** Interactive exhibits like the Peeps Exhibit can be integrated into theme parks, museums, and other entertainment venues, enhancing the visitor experience and attracting a wider audience. - **Event Planning:** Incorporating inflatable art into event decor, such as inflatable sculptures or paintings, can add a unique and visually stunning element to corporate events, parties, and weddings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Glass Beaded Intricate Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-exhibition.md) - [Playful Balloon Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keff-joons.md) - [Immersive Balloon Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balloon-story-popup.md) - [Spiky Inflatable Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-sculptures1.md) - [Whimsical Pool-Inspired Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/public-pool-exhibition.md) - [Doll-Inspired Modern Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavilions-of-wonder.md) - [Inflatable Vibrant Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-dancer.md) - [Playful Interactive Galleries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/play-by-american-express-platinum.md) - [Plastic-Exploring Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/everlasting-plastics.md)
