The sugar-coated cover spoof features both pink and yellow Easter Peeps candies, a confectionery treat that loosely translates to vibrantly colored sugar-encrusted marshmallows. Titled 'Peeper Magazine,' the clever diorama joins a long list of parodies like a Marge Simpson version, a [Disney](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bbw-the-nightmare-before-christmas-collection) villain variety, an emoji and a Nicki Minaj mash-up. While it may not have literally broken the Internet, the cover will probably never be forgotten by it. This particular creation was submitted to the Washington Post's Peeps diorama contest, which received considerable response. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Peeps Diorama Trend:** The trend of creating dioramas using Peeps candies presents an opportunity for confectionery companies to partner with artists to create limited edition diorama kits. - **Cover Spoof Trend:** The trend of creating cover spoofs presents an opportunity for graphic design agencies to offer their services in creating customized parody covers for brands and individuals. - **Memetic Reinterpretation Trend:** The trend of creating humorous reinterpretations of viral images presents an opportunity for meme creators to collaborate with brands to create promotional content that resonates with online audiences. ### Where This Applies - **Confectionery Industry:** The Peeps diorama trend presents an opportunity for confectionery companies to capitalize on the popularity of Peeps by partnering with artists to create limited edition diorama kits. - **Graphic Design Industry:** The cover spoof trend presents an opportunity for graphic design agencies to offer their services in creating customized parody covers for brands and individuals looking to create viral marketing campaigns. - **Marketing Industry:** The memetic reinterpretation trend presents an opportunity for meme creators to collaborate with brands, allowing marketing agencies to leverage their creativity to generate viral promotional content. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Over-the-Top Easter Desserts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easter-beverage.md) - [Co-Branded Easter Marshmallow Confections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marshmallow-confections.md) - [Easter Brunch Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easter-brunch-popup.md) - [Celebratory Springtime Marshmallow Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peeps-2023-easter-marshmallow-offerings.md) - [Easter-Themed Kitchen Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easterthemed-kitchen.md) - [Viral Chocolate Easter Eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pistachio-kataifi-breton-egg.md) - [Easter Candy Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peeps-sweet-suite.md) - [Collaboration Easter Candy Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frankford-candy-easter.md) - [Customizable Marshmallow Chicks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-peeps.md)
