Canadian architecture and design firm StructureCraft created a new pedestrian suspension bridge that crosses Bow River in Banff, Alberta. The 370 foot long bridge offers expansive views of the surrounding rocky mountains and gives tourists a simple way to cross Bow river. This bridge is the first of its kind to be made from [pure timber](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-forest-datum) and will be able to support a central 111 foot suspension.

The [wooden deck](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-annex) was created to be replaceable, allowing upkeep to be simple and affordable. Not only does this bridge serve as a simple resolution to pedestrian traffic, but it also provides a new sanity crossing replacement for the small town. This new pedestrian suspension bridge is useful and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful nature in the world.
