Architecture firm Three14 Architects designed a [peaceful sanctuary for a young family](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sadowski-house) in Cape Town, South Africa.

The home is located on a gorgeous piece of property offering views of both the Devil's Peak and The Back Table of the iconic Table Mountain. The architects focused on creating an [open-space concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-sky-beach-house) that took advantage of all the location had to offer in terms of views. The execution of these goals resulted in a house that is so lightweight in its design and construction, it appears as though it is floating.

The home is enclosed in a [perforated courtyard](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-solai) which allows light to permeate though. The rooms within the house are carefully positioned so that they receive the maximum amount of natural light.
