# Street Art-Inspired Furniture The Skeleton Table By Cowbag | Published 2008-11-07 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paul-in References: [ilovebadthings](http://www.ilovebadthings.com/2008/11/corpses-for-sal.html) & [paulinsect](http://www.paulinsect.com/shows/poisonldn_skeltab/poisonldn_skeltab.html#) I have always loved Paul Insect's bunny ear skulls and find them really darn sexy in a messed up way. The table is part of Insect's Poison Exhibition, which also features a skull bunny girl for each month of the year. Rather brilliantly, they are all different: one happy, one sad, one blinged-out with rubies, and one with print braces to match her (or his) ears. I am so going to trot down and see this one. Everyone says these bunnies mean different things, but quite frankly I could happily live with a whole warren of them, and that is all that matters. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Street Art-inspired Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with street artists to create unique and vibrant furniture pieces that appeal to a younger demographic. - **Skull Bunny Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate skull bunny art into various products like clothing, accessories, and home decor to cater to the edgy and alternative market. - **Individualized Designs:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Offer customizable designs in furniture and home decor to meet the growing demand for unique and personalized products. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Embrace street art aesthetics and incorporate them into furniture designs to attract urban and artistic consumers. - **Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the intersection of street art and traditional art forms, creating new avenues for artistic expression and commercialization. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce street art-inspired home decor items that provide a contemporary, urban vibe for modern living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Accent Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-table.md) - [Broken-Aesthetic Sculpture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brokenaesthetic-sculpture-collection.md) - [Fairytale-Inspired Bed Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circu-mr-bunny-bed.md) - [Unique Burl-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/don-heston-studio.md) - [Industrial Strength Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intra-side-table.md) - [Ceiba Tree-Inspired Spiked Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceiba-series.md) - [Island-Inspired Wooden Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/island-table.md) - [Artwork-Inspired Dining Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/d12-dining-table.md) - [Mycelium-Based Artful Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ephemeral-table.md)
