It revolves around [bold joints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puzzle-shelf) in bright red, which help to celebrate the construction of the different pieces of furniture. Patch by Beza Projekt is comprised of [seven different types](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nook-furniture) of joints. Each one applies to different angles of a structure. With five holes on each end, builders are able to utilize them for a number of designs. As written by the designers, "There is no need to install them evenly, chaos is incorporated into their design, so you can spontaneously form constructions where technical component is also decorative one." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Bold Joint Furniture:** Furniture that highlights bold joints and celebrates the construction process, offering an opportunity for designers to create unconventional and visually stunning designs. - **Design as Functional Art:** Designers are emphasizing the functional and structural components of their creations, turning furniture into pieces of art that also serve practical purposes. - **Modular Furniture:** Furniture designed with modularity in mind, allowing for easy customization, repair, and replacement of individual components, while also making a statement through bold joints and unconventional connections. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design and Manufacturing:** The furniture industry can utilize bold joints and unconventional connections to create unique and functional pieces that make a statement and celebrate the construction process. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can use bold joint furniture to create visually stunning and unconventional spaces with a focus on the functional and structural aspects of design. - **Sustainable Design:** Sustainability-focused designers can incorporate modular furniture designs that emphasize easy repair and replacement of individual components, with the added value of bold joint connections for a unique and visually striking look. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Togetherness-Centric Furniture Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shadow-play-collection.md) - [Plywood Furniture Collection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/join-collection.md) - [Imperfect Timber Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/no1-common.md) - [Musician-Inspired Textural Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jura-collection.md) - [Playful Accent Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-table.md) - [Interlocking Puzzle-Like Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-table.md) - [Playful Geometric Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co.md) - [Clippable Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clippable-furniture.md) - [Chic Norm-Challenging Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wiggle-collection.md)
