# Balloon-Popping Gun Games The Party Roulette Lets You Indulge in Danger Without any Real Harm By Marina Rotharmel | Published 2012-09-10 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/party-roulette References: [wewastetime.wordpress](http://wewastetime.wordpress.com/2012/08/21/do-try-this-at-home/) Russian Roulette is not for the faint of heart, so unless you're a total badass most won't try it, however, if you'd still like to get a similar thrill then you should check out the Party Roulette Game. Indulge in a little danger and stick a fake gun up to your head. The Party Roulette Game comes from the team at Can You Imagine. Just like Russian Roulette, you have to load the gun, pull the trigger and pass it on until you hear a loud pop. Except, instead of a bullet blowing off your head, you load the gun with a balloon. This is clearly a much safer version and the only pain you'll feel is a slight ringing in your ear when the balloon pops. It's got a similar thrill to the real thing but is totally harmless. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Safe Thrill Games:** Opportunity to create more games where people can indulge in danger without any real harm. - **Party Games with a Twist:** Opportunity to create more unique and exciting games to be played with friends and family for parties. - **Harmless Risk-taking:** Opportunity to create more experiences that allow individuals to take calculated risks with no negative consequences. ### Where This Applies - **Party Supplies and Games Industry:** There is a major opportunity to create new and innovative party games for companies within this industry. - **Entertainment Industry:** The entertainment industry would benefit greatly from new and innovative ways to experience a safe thrill. - **Experience Industry:** There is a huge opportunity for businesses in the experience industry to create unique and unforgettable experiences that push people out of their comfort zones. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Re-Imagined Adult Party Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluttr-spin-the-bottle.md) - [Addictive Chaotic Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angel-pop.md) - [Roulette-Style Beer Packs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roulette-ipa-pack.md) - [Boozy Backyard Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beer-darts.md) - [Next-Gen Drinking Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/almost-friday.md) - [Machine Learning Game Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/truth-or-dare-game.md) - [Digital Marble Tabletop Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funpop-tabletop-pinball-game.md) - [Guided Challenge Party Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/human-controller.md) - [Wine-Branded Adult Party Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/would-you-dare.md)
