# Contemporary Taper Dispensers The Partou Candleholder Contains Backup for When the Lights Go Out By Amelia Roblin | Published 2012-07-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/partou-candleholder References: [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/gallery/Partou/3632557) For practical reasons mostly, [tea lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-soft-solids) have become a popular choice when electrical illumination is either unavailable or undesired. More importantly for the former purpose, there is a definite handiness to the Partou Candleholder. A collection of the short wax and wick items is stored within each [ceramic vessel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-mater). A depression in the crown of the accessory fits a single candle and four fresh ones can be stashed within the hollow cavity below. Amir Alizade sculpted a rectangular opening in the base of the votive vase to provide access to this tiny chamber. When fully stocked, the Partou Candleholder stores about 17 hours of illumination. If [taller tapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beeswax-taper-candles) are more to your preference anyway, this piece of practical decoration succeeds to lengthen the silhouette of the stout burners. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Tea Light Convenience:** The Partou Candleholder provides a convenient solution for using tea lights when electrical illumination is unavailable. - **Compact Candle Storage:** The ceramic vessel of the Partou Candleholder allows for storage of multiple tea lights, providing a compact and organized solution. - **Extended Illumination:** With the ability to store about 17 hours of illumination, the Partou Candleholder offers extended lighting duration. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Décor:** The Partou Candleholder is a popular choice for those seeking practical and stylish home décor options. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and restaurants can utilize the Partou Candleholder to provide ambient lighting and enhance the overall guest experience. - **Outdoor Events:** The Partou Candleholder can be a valuable addition to outdoor events, offering portable and convenient lighting solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Luxurious Sculptural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-candle-holders.md) - [Stone Cube Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qub-candlestick.md) - [Architectural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/core-candle-holder.md) - [Warm Ambient Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflet.md) - [Interestingly Shaped Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poise-candle-holder.md) - [Luxe Refillable Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/les-mondes-de-diptyque.md) - [Adorable Bee-Inspired Candlesticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beeinspired-candlesticks.md) - [Flame-Free Candle Warmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Tear Canister Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/majdulin-nasrallah.md)
