Vincent Koenders' Park Seat Features a Functional Sliding Component

The Park Bench design by creative Vincent Koenders offers a functional park seat for consumers to recline on that does more than provide a comfortable place to sit. The bench features a sliding component that turns the bench into an array of other devices and objects to increase versatility as well as functionality in park spaces. The bench serves as a meeting place as well as a modular design piece.

Unlike a traditional bench, the Park Bench offers a modern and slightly abstract aesthetic thanks to its integrated white column that sits on the back of the seat. The sliding unit can double up as a table, bar or separating device. The column is designed to move from either end of the bench to create a customized setting for sitters.
