With its new WeWork La Fayette location and more, WeWork has set itself apart by breathing new life into old buildings. In the case of this new location in Paris, the building boasts an inspiring 1920s style that is modernized by pops of bright color and contrasting contemporary furnishings. Throughout the [Art Deco-style space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atypique-1) created in collaboration with [Axel Schoenert Architectes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lou-tiny-house), there are a variety of workspace and seating styles offered, making it a flexible space to suit one's preferred style of work. WeWork La Fayette recently hosted an exhibition as part of [Maison & Objet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maison-perron) that showcased 35 products to enhance the creative workspace. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Revitalized Historic Buildings:** Breathing new life into old buildings to create unique and inspiring workspaces. - **Modernized Art Deco Design:** Updating traditional Art Deco style with contemporary elements, such as bright colors and contrasting furnishings. - **Flexible Workspaces:** Offering a variety of workspace and seating styles to accommodate diverse work preferences. ### Where This Applies - **Co-working Spaces:** Creating innovative co-working spaces that combine historical charm with modern conveniences. - **Architecture and Interior Design:** Exploring new ways to modernize traditional design styles for commercial spaces. - **Furniture and Office Supplies:** Developing products and solutions that can adapt to different work environments and styles. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Monochrome Co-Working Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monochrome-coworking-space.md) - [Rerfeshed Historic Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloisters-interiors.md) - [Whimsical Bright Creative Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/publicis-group.md) - [Rock-Climbing Work Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hidden-climbing-gym.md) - [Modern Deco Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/newgen.md) - [Fashion-Centric Co-Working Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hollywood-production-center.md) - [Modern London Co-Working Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apex.md) - [Vibrantly Designed Office Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maison-perron.md) - [Art Deco-Themed Film Headquarters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandbox-film.md)
