The table is designed to look like an umbrella, featuring a [flat plywood table surface](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables) on top of a leg and steel base that is designed to look like an [umbrella handle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/standpoint). According to designboom, "the form is meant to look fragile, adding visual tension." One thing is for sure, this adorable, little table will definitely attract some attention as a piece of decorative art and furniture in any home. It may even protect your floor from getting wet, just like a real umbrella, should anyone spill anything on it. So if you're looking for a table that is fit for Batman villain the Penguin, then the Parapluie Table is for you.
