Delving into the lives of people by taking a peek into their bags, Philadelphia-based photographer Ellie Brown gives us a glimpse of stranger’s bags in her new personal paraphernalia photography series.
Daring to unzip bags and take pictures of strangers' most private spaces, the personal paraphernalia photography series ‘BAG’ is unique and very interesting.
The intimate series features 3-year-old school children to retired gallery directors and shows us everything they carry with them on a daily basis.
This original series is very different from any other series that tries to represent strangers; it’s so simple yet so brilliant. BAG lets us snoop through the lives of other people without being rude. Sometimes surprising and mostly entertaining, this series helps once again prove that people are never what they seem. If you just scratch beneath the surface, you’re bound to find a lot of interesting little facades to everyone.
