Placed inconspicuously on ceilings and other out-of-the-way spots, these [unique installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duo-installation) add a [touch of magic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavilions-of-wonder) to each space they occupy. Created by Ji Lee (who is now one of my favorite designers), his Parallel Worlds project is currently only at [Google](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible) Offices and his own home. I feel the need to stalk him until he creates one for me! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Miniature Upside-down Rooms:** Creating miniature upside-down rooms as unique installations that add a touch of magic to spaces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporating miniature upside-down rooms as a unique design element in various spaces. - **Real Estate:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introducing miniature upside-down rooms as a selling point for unique and immersive living spaces. - **Hospitality:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Offering miniature upside-down rooms as a novel and enchanting accommodation experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Inversion Living Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-getaway.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Optical Illusion Replica Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liberty-science-center.md) - [Immersive Artful Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oveneck-33.md) - [Miniaturized Product Art Photographs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-muji.md) - [Miniature Collectible Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/world-of-miniverse.md) - [Mushroom-Constructed Room Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mush-room.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Warped Georgian Townhouse Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-week-at-the-knees.md)
