The Paradero Hotel first opened in 2021 and it is comprised of 41 suite resorts. The design element channels a striking [Brutalist aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-dessarzin-jungle-sanctuary) that is backed by an [eco-conscious approach](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/secrets-bahia-mita-surf) to architecture as well. The hotel is also home to the Michelin-Key TENOCH restaurant. The space was designed by Ruben Valdez and Yashar Yektajo, who are [up-and-coming Mexican talents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kanai-resort).

The oasis measures about 5 acres in total and embodies the notion of framing the environment where the desert joins the ocean. The hotel has a cast-in-place concrete construction of sturdy volumes complete with a curvilinear shape to create a pre-air conditioning cooling system. The model is essentially something that is both an indoor and outdoor living experience.
