The playful creations by Mazac feature people with hardly any clothes on, taking part in various scenarios like hanging out at the beach under an oversized umbrella, building snowmen and playing the piano. The collage people's interactions on the printed paper towels are odd and amusing, since it's the last place you'd expect to see some of these situations played out. Since [paper towels act as the canvases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/papaya-reusables) that host these art pieces, they are no bigger than about 8" sheets. There are a range of [paper towel types](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reusable-paper-towel) too, each of which has its own distinct patterning for absorbing water, which adds quite a bit of interest as an artful element too. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Paper Towel Art:** Exploring the creative use of paper towels as unconventional canvases for artistic expression. - **Collage Cutouts:** Incorporating collage cutouts into artwork to create visually intriguing and playful compositions. - **Unexpected Artistic Mediums:** Using unconventional materials like paper towels to create unique and unexpected art pieces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Opportunity for artists to experiment with non-traditional mediums and push the boundaries of artistic expression. - **Household Products:** Exploring new ways to repurpose and add value to everyday household items like paper towels. - **Printing and Packaging:** Incorporating creative printing methods and unique patterns on paper towels to enhance artistic value and appeal. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Art Doodle-Collaborative Napkins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tissue-box-collection.md) - [Collaborative Tea Towel Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tea-towel-design.md) - [Sculptural Mixed-Media Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Surrealist Beauty Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toiletpaper-magazine.md) - [Origami-Inspired Porcelain Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saori-matsushita.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Leftover Househouse Paint Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-drop.md) - [Intricate Fiber Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/threadwork-women-redefining-fiber-arts.md)
