The Netherlands' 'ThePaperMoonFactory' is an [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcade-clock) shop that sells a variety of paper mâché light systems in unusual shapes. One of these fun designs is the Custom Paper Pulp Lamp City Lights, part of the City Lights series.

The house-shaped light has a circular form that can be used as either a [hanging fixture or a table lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/see-earth). Marion Westerman of ThePaperMoonFactory makes these intriguing [paper mâché lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sorpresa) from recycled paper pulp, which is then painted with white chalk paint to achieve the perfect matte finish. Due to the lamp being made of paper, it requires an LED light. When illuminated, the small windows on the house of the lamp glow as if there were small people inside who inhabit the whimsical lighting fixture.
