Certainly their spiraling Paper Lamp is a prime example of this dichotomy at work. The Paper Lamp is a [table light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foreshadow-table-lamp) that gives off a [soft golden glow](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yurameki) from a seemingly undulating shade. The shade is made entirely of [treated cut-out paper discs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti) stacked on top of one another to create an organic shape. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Organic Lighting:** Exploring the use of natural and organic materials to create unique lighting fixtures. - **Vintage-modern Fusion:** Blending vintage design elements with contemporary aesthetics to create visually striking pieces. - **Abstract Shapes:** Experimenting with unconventional and undulating forms to add an artistic touch to lighting designs. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Creating innovative lighting solutions to enhance the ambiance and aesthetics of interior spaces. - **Home Decor:** Offering unique and visually captivating lighting fixtures as statement pieces for home interiors. - **Artistic Installations:** Exploring the possibilities of using lighting as a means of artistic expression and installation design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flat-Pack Paper Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi.md) - [Posh Paper Craft-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/japandi-lamp.md) - [Paper-Made Origami Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanging-origami-lamp.md) - [Organic Paper-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farolito.md) - [Blooming Paper Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kazuhiro-yamanaka-tsubomi-lamp.md) - [Geometric Nostalgic Night Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handmaid-table-lamp.md) - [Hat-Like Fabric Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-lamp.md) - [Paper-Inspired Half-Folded Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/half-lamp.md) - [Organic Cloud-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/khmara.md)
