The kettle is constructed entirely out of paper, which can be safely used for boiling water thanks to its burning point of 300-degrees Celsius versus the boiling point of water which is 100-degrees Celsius. This will enable water to be easily boiled over a [camping stove](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camprit-tistove) to prepare meals and more from virtually anywhere. The 'Paper Kettle' has a [flatpack design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shuhu-stove) that will neatly slide into any backpack or gear bag to ensure it's always on hand when it's needed most to prepare [hot drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mokka-to-go) or a meal. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Paper-based Products:** Paper-based products and solutions are becoming a trend with their potential to provide an eco-friendly and lightweight alternative to conventional products. - **Portable Kitchen Equipment:** User-friendly, lightweight and easy-to-use portable kitchen equipment is definitely a trend that is here to stay. - **Alternate Materials:** The trend of using unconventional materials for creating products that serve basic purposes like boiling water is set to disrupt the traditional materials industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Outdoor Equipment and Gear:** Manufacturers of outdoor equipment and gear have an opportunity to create new products using eco-friendly paper-based materials. - **Travel and Tourism:** The travel and tourism industry can benefit from paper-based products like the Paper Kettle that can be easily carried by travelers for their basic needs. - **Materials Manufacturing:** Research and innovation in using alternate materials to create safe and durable products, like the Paper Kettle, can disrupt the materials manufacturing industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Compact Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-kettle.md) - [Tumbler-Inspired Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-travel-kettle.md) - [Modular Travel Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tetra.md) - [Portable Electric Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-electric-pot.md) - [Camping-Friendly Compact Cookware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yunsoo-choi.md) - [Flatpack Outdoor Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brutek-collapsible-pour-over.md) - [Adjustable Temperature Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/o-kettle.md) - [Tea Vessel-Inspired Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonkettle.md) - [Collapsible Wood-Burning Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leikki-camping-stove.md)
