This incredibly detailed [paper sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pastille) was created with only glue, scissors, [colorful paper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chinese-paper-umbrella), white paper and cutters. These are the kinds of materials you find at a kindergarten craft table and yet this creative team of talented artists made a stunning sculpture with them. This sculpture features a beautiful white and gold castle sitting on top of a mountain. It also features small huts, roads and patches of grass trailing down the mountain side, but the focal point is about what’s winding around the mountain community. An enormous [red dragon](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toothless-model) has seemingly emerged from the water and coiled around this stunning mountain landscape. The lovely Paper Dragon Project is exquisitely detailed. It’s hard to believe this is a paper creation. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Paper Art:** Exploring the creative possibilities of everyday materials like paper can lead to innovative art forms. - **Collaborative Art Projects:** Joining forces as a team to create a large-scale art piece can result in impressive works that showcase everyone's unique talents. - **Realistic Illusion Art:** Pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with traditional art materials leads to stunning works that create a sense of awe and wonderment in viewers. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can embrace the use of unconventional materials to produce works that are affordable, yet stunning and creative. - **Education:** Educational institutions can incorporate paper art projects that enhance students' abilities to think creatively and outside the box. - **Tourism:** The tourism industry can benefit from the creation of large-scale art installations that attract visitors and boost local economies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Sci-Fi Nostalgic Dragon Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ground-dragon.md) - [Paper-Inspired Artful Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-papirkunst.md) - [Distinctive Dragon-Themed Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/distinctive-dragonthemed-books-dragonborn-features-illustrative-end-pages-a.md) - [Paper-Like Art Museum Roofs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-paper-art.md) - [Folk Creature Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog.md) - [Paper Curvature Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-curves.md) - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Dragon-Themed Drone Light Shows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/legend-of-the-dragon-gate.md)
