# Wicked Wicker Rooms Paola Lent Focuses on Earthy Designs and Stylish Minimalism By Shelby Lee Walsh | Published 2010-10-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paola-lent References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/interiors/outdoor-interior-design-a-different-kind-of-interiors-by-paola-lenti.html#more) & [paolalenti.it](http://www.paolalenti.it/) Judging by the designs Paola Lenti has put out there for the world to see, there are three main important elements in any room: comfort, bringing the outdoors in, and last but not least, wicker! Creating spaces that add a new modernity to traditional materials that you would associate with the elderly (like wicker), Paola Lenti creates spaces that are casual yet chic. Her earthy designs are perfect places to sit down, relax, drink some tea and read a book on a lazy Sunday afternoon. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Earthy Design:** Opportunity for creating modern designs by using traditional materials associated with the elderly. - **Bringing Outdoors In:** Opportunity for creating living spaces that incorporate elements of nature into interior design. - **Casual Chic:** Opportunity for creating spaces that are both relaxed and stylish. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Incorporating unique materials and elements of nature in cutting-edge designs. - **Home Decor:** Creating affordable decor options that bring elements of nature into living spaces. - **Furniture Design:** Using traditional materials in innovative ways to create modern furniture pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Cushioned Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pod-outdoor-seating.md) - [Woven Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whispers-of-the-wildwood.md) - [Calm-Centric Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/news-collection.md) - [Italian Coastline-Themed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avant-and-varenna.md) - [Natural Resource Ceramic Collection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nicol-morales.md) - [Expertly Woven Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicker-side-table.md) - [Durable Designer Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/r24-collection.md) - [Versatile Natural Structural Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eolias.md) - [Sustainable Modern Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zeitraum.md)
