# Panoramic Glass Art These Glass Landscapes Can Be Rearanged to Create Different Scenes By Ady Floyd | Published 2015-05-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/panoramic-glass-art References: [laughingsquid](http://laughingsquid.com/gorgeous-multilayered-panoramic-glass-sculptures-that-capture-the-distinct-personalities-of-places-around-the-world/) & [mymodernmet](http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/stone-ridge-glass-landscapes-art) Lucie Boucher and Bernie Huebner paired up to create 'Glasscapes.' This art project is a collection of landscapes made with [hand-cut and painted glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-hill-farm). Different colored sheets of glass are layered together and placed on top of a dark wooden stand. This gives their [three-dimensional artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes) the illusion of being a floating scene. The artwork is interactive and can be rearranged to create new and similar landscapes out of the same glass. For example, the two artists created an [oceanic landscape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marine-ecosystem-sculptures) giving the the ability to interchange the waves. The same art piece can go from a calm rhythmic-looking scene to a raging storm. The stunning art pieces resemble high-end decor with a minimalist angle due to the simple colors and details. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Interactive Glass Art:** The Glasscapes art project is an example of how interactive glass art can provide new and exciting experiences for viewers. - **Modular Artwork Design:** The ability to rearrange the glass pieces in the Glasscapes project demonstrates the potential for modular artwork designs that can be customized by the viewer. - **Minimalist Decor Art:** The minimalist design of the Glasscapes collection highlights the potential for minimalist decor art to blend seamlessly into modern interiors. ### Where This Applies - **Art:** The Glasscapes project showcases the potential for innovative and interactive art pieces that can provide new experiences for art lovers. - **Home Decor:** The Glasscapes collection demonstrates the potential for modular artwork designs that can add a touch of minimalism to modern interiors. - **Interior Design:** The minimalist design of the Glasscapes collection highlights the potential for minimalist decor art to blend seamlessly into modern interiors, providing new opportunities for interior designers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artfully Rotating Glass Pillars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/panorama.md) - [Dynamic Colorful Glass Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavilion-set.md) - [Interactive Architectural Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-landscape.md) - [Artisanal Artful Glass Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kaanch-glass-series.md) - [Glass Geometry Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-collection.md) - [Elegant Crystalline Decor Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ensemble.md) - [Candy-Like Colorful Glass Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gele-series.md) - [Glass Beaded Intricate Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-exhibition.md) - [Mesmerizing Sand Pattern Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystal-sandsara.md)
