These handheld pancake creations lean into our breakfast equity while giving everyone a choice on sweet or savory – or both – to enjoy during all dayparts.” The Pancake Taco lineup includes options like the Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake Pancake Taco, the [Caramel Banana Pancake Taco](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/banana-foster-pancakes), the [Breakfast Pancake Taco](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/breakfast-taco-kit) and the Country Chicken and Gravy Pancake Taco. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 17% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pancake Taco Innovation:** IHOP's introduction of Pancake Tacos demonstrates the potential for innovative food fusions that combine familiar breakfast items in a new and exciting way. - **All-day Breakfast Creations:** The availability of sweet and savory Pancake Tacos at IHOP signifies a growing trend towards all-day breakfast options that cater to a variety of tastes and preferences. - **Handheld Pancake Craze:** The popularity of IHOP's handheld Pancake Tacos highlights the demand for convenient and portable food options that can be enjoyed on-the-go. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Restaurant Industry:** Restaurants can capitalize on the Pancake Taco trend by offering unique and innovative pancake creations, attracting customers with their creative approach to traditional breakfast food. - **Food Fusion Industry:** The success of IHOP's Pancake Tacos suggests an opportunity for the food fusion industry to experiment with combining different types of cuisine to create innovative flavor combinations. - **Breakfast Food Industry:** The introduction of all-day Pancake Tacos by IHOP indicates a need for breakfast food companies to expand their offerings to include more versatile and diverse options that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [All-Day Diner Breakfast Tacos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anytime-tacos.md) - [Taco-Like Chocolate Pancakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chocopancake.md) - [Pancake-Based Breakfast Taco](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bacon-egg-and-cheese-pancake-tacos.md) - [Pancake House Menu Expansions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ihop-1.md) - [Biscuit-Themed Breakfast Selections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ihop-3.md) - [Spiced Apple-Topped Pancakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinnamon-apple-pecan-pancakes.md) - [Coffee Cake Breakfast Dishes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffee-cake-pancakes.md) - [Waffle-Made Breakfast Tacos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mvp-waffle-tacos.md) - [Fruity Protein Pancakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-protein-pancakes.md)
