# Nerdilicious Pancake Art Pancake’s Dad’s Nintendo Pancake Art is Intricate and Mouthwa By Simal Yilmaz | Published 2013-02-05 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pancake-art References: [incrediblethings](http://www.incrediblethings.com/art-design/pancake-dads-nintendo-pancakes/) & [saipancakes.blogspot](http://saipancakes.blogspot.ca/2013/01/nintendo.html) Pancake dad Nathan Sheilds of Saipancakesis is once again showcasing his intricate pancake art on a rather adorned theme on this fine pancake day. Pancake day, also known as Shrove Tuesday, precedes the first day of Lent every year. Since it is linked with Easter, the annual dates interchange. If a day of indulgence on pancakes are encouraged right before a month-long restriction, why not optimize the opportunity with some art? These nerdilicious pancake designs of Nintendo video-game characters feature Mario, Zelda, Kirby, DK, Yoshi and Fox McCloud. I can’t think of a single excuse to not get out of bed if these were made for me on a Pancake Tuesday morning. These pancakes would be incredibly appreciated for a minute, followed by a quick photo-shoot and finally an aggressive consumption with no remorse. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Deliciously Detailed Flapjacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pancake-dad.md) - [Seriously Slanted Ceramics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pancake-plate.md) - [Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll Pancakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recipe-girl-breakfast.md) - [Funky Fruitcake Hybrids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fruitcakes.md) - [Bold Boozy Flapjacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beer-and-brown-sugar-pancakes.md) - [Bacon-Brimming Flapjacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recipe-girl-griddle-cakes.md) - [Breakfast Breakthrough Dishware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pancake-plates.md) - [Galactic Series Flapjacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-trek-pancakes.md) - [Flapjack Stacked Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pancake-cupcakes.md)
