Upon closer inspection, the Palomba Collection reveals its design is inspired by natural formations that occur everywhere in nature. The bathtubs and sinks are all designed and contoured much like inlets and cliffs. When water goes through the bathroom fixtures, the effect is similar to waterfalls and rainfall would on the naturally occurring formations. The rounded and smooth contours of the fixtures are also reflective of rocks and cliffs that have been shaped the same way through years of erosion and exposure to water. The bathtub in particular is also ergonomically designed to provide back support and can be accented with [massage capabilities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aretusa-tub-by-claudio-papa). The Palmoba Collection is available in seperate fixtures or as an entire bathroom set. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Nature-inspired Bathroom Designs:** Designing bathroom fixtures inspired by natural formations can create a unique and immersive experience for users. - **Waterfall-like Bathroom Fixtures:** Creating bathroom fixtures that simulate the effect of waterfalls and rainfall on natural formations can provide a calming and relaxing atmosphere. - **Ergonomic Bathtubs with Massage Features:** Designing bathtubs with ergonomic features and massage capabilities can enhance comfort and relaxation during bathing experiences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bathroom Fixture Manufacturing:** Incorporating nature-inspired designs in bathroom fixtures can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for manufacturers in the bathroom fixture industry. - **Hospitality and Spa Industry:** Implementing nature-inspired bathroom designs can offer a unique and luxurious experience for guests in hotels and spas. - **Interior Design and Architecture:** Incorporating nature-inspired bathroom designs into architectural and interior design projects can create visually appealing and functional spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sustainable Bathroom Design Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-bathroom-design.md) - [Textural Bathroom Sink Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/washbasin-collection.md) - [Wellness Retreat Bathroom Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oasis-collection-1.md) - [Nature-Inspired Artful Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bathing-collection.md) - [Collaborative Bathroom Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathroom-design2.md) - [Museum-Like Bathroom Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-face-bathroom-collection.md) - [Tranquil Modern Bath Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zencha.md) - [Egyptian-Informed Bathroom Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/latoxlato.md) - [Nature-Inspired Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/riva-collection.md)
