It brings that extra touch of nature to personal pools in a highly functional manner. Not only is it highly functional, it is also extremely technological. The PalmShower by Dometti boasts embedded controls in the trunk for easy access as well as a remote control via [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/henri-matisse-x-casetify) or iPod Touch through Wi-Fi. It also features retractable leaves that can be customized to personal shower preferences, LED chromatherapy lighting, MP3 player, radio-tuner, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth receiver, speakers and stereo amplifiers -- all of which are obviously waterproof. With this in mind, the PalmShower by Dometti definitely does not seem like a typical tropical tree in the least. It's futuristic aesthetic gives it a sci-fi appeal that sets it apart from other outdoor showers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Functional Outdoor Shower Systems:** Outdoor shower systems that combine functionality and nature-inspired design. - **Hi-tech Outdoor Utilities:** Outdoor utilities equipped with advanced technological features for convenience and customization. - **Futuristic Aesthetics in Outdoor Design:** Outdoor products with a modern and sci-fi inspired look that stands out from traditional designs. ### Where This Applies - **Pool and Outdoor Recreation:** Innovative outdoor shower systems catered towards pool owners and outdoor enthusiasts. - **Smart Home Technology:** Technologically advanced outdoor utilities that can be integrated into smart home systems. - **Outdoor Furniture and Fixture:** Futuristic outdoor products that redefine the aesthetics and functionality of traditional outdoor furniture and fixtures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Accessible Shower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-showers.md) - [Nature-Inspired Artful Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bathing-collection.md) - [Naturally Inspired Body Dryers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sumsei-air-shower.md) - [Pressure-Sensitive Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-shower-concept.md) - [Aromatherapy Infused Shower Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sprig-shower-infusion-system.md) - [Call-Enabled Shower Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taito-shower-mixer.md) - [WiFi-Enabled Circular Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circular-shower.md) - [Water-Saving Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alu.md)
