In an effort to add a little green touch to the design, this [palm tree house](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palm-house) features a [tree growing from the basement floor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burl-treehouse) all the way to the top. The home is designed to blend the life of a tree with the everyday happenings of an average human family with the tree dominating a large portion of the space. The home is [appointed quite minimally](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zenhouse) and focuses on only the essentials needed to live day-to-day like a basic kitchen and bathroom as well as a few open concept spaces for relaxation. The palm tree, although currently only a mere five feet tall, will be able to grow to full size without fears that it will become stunted because of a lack of space.
