# Neon Geometric Wall Art MWM Graphics Makes Walking Down the Hallway the Highlight of Your Day By Rahul Kalvapalle | Published 2014-03-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painted-wall-design References: [arch2o](http://www.arch2o.com/painted-hallways-of-vincci-bit-hotel-mwm-graphics/) & [mwmgraphics](http://mwmgraphics.com/bio.html) MWM Graphics has created a dynamic, eye-catching painted wall design for [Barcelona's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colombo-and-serboli-architecture-1) Vincci Bit Hotel. The design utilizes sharp colors, heavy contrasts and pleasing abstract shapes to transform a boring wall into an eye-catching piece of art. Adorning the [chic hotel's fourth floor corridor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hotel-calimala-milano), the wall painting is 50 meters long, required 14 gallons of paint and took designer Matt W. Moore two weeks of work. The flashy design attempts to turn the simple act of walking down a hallway into a sensual and memorable experience. The painting doesn't discriminate against doors, which are painted right over as if they're a part of the rest of the wall. As the hometown of the great Antonio Gaudi, Barcelona has long been a hub of modernist art. But it's safe to say that MWM Graphics' painted wall designs are flashy enough to capture even Gaudi's attention. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 44% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Geometric Wall Designs:** Businesses can incorporate dynamic painted wall designs to enhance customer experience. - **Abstract Art Installations:** Businesses can utilize large scale abstract art installations to transform dull spaces into immersive experiences. - **Doorless Design:** Businesses can incorporate doorless design elements to create a seamless and continuous visual experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Hotels:** Hotels can use dynamic painted wall designs and abstract art installations to create memorable experiences for guests. - **Offices:** Offices can use doorless design and large scale abstract art installations to enhance employee experience and creativity. - **Galleries:** Galleries can utilize large scale abstract art installations and geometric wall designs to create immersive and memorable exhibitions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Colorful Residential Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphic-house.md) - [Pink-Tinted Artful Concept Stores](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moco-concept-store.md) - [Vibrant Museum Foyer Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-foyer.md) - [Nature-Inspired Urban Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kriskadecor-1.md) - [Graphic Wallpaper Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immersive-surfaces.md) - [Color-Blocked Contemporary Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mkg.md) - [Pink-Detailed Art Gallery Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superzoom.md) - [Ultra-Colorful Design Studios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whimsical-studio.md) - [Immersive Hotel Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hotel-art-installation.md)
