# Decorative Door Stops Add a Splash of Colour to Your Floor With Paint Tube Door Stops By Andrew Robichaud | Published 2009-07-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-tube-door-stops References: [inventorspot](http://inventorspot.com/articles/paint_tube_doorstop_adds_color_humor_any_room_30128) & [delight](http://www.delight.com/Paint-Tube-Door-Stop) From Tokyu Hands, the company of all things cheery and clever, comes these paint tube door stops. Tokyu Hands has other types of door stops (like banana and pylon) but this one just does it for me. In an area (your home) of never-ending decorating possibilities, I find it rather quirky and cute to have a tiny little paint tube holding open any door of your humble abode. They come in a huge variety of colors and playfully pump some little life into the bottom of your door (as much life that can be added to the bottom of a door). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Activity: 54% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Colorful Door Accessories:** Create a vibrant and playful atmosphere with colorful door stops inspired by everyday objects. - **Quirky Home Decor:** Embrace unique and whimsical home decor items that add personality to your living spaces. - **Decorative Functional Accessories:** Combine functionality and aesthetic appeal with decorative door stops that serve a practical purpose. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Explore opportunities in the home decor industry by offering innovative and decorative door accessories. - **Interior Design:** Bring creativity into interior design projects by incorporating unique and artistic door stops. - **Gifts and Souvenirs:** Cater to the demand for quirky and eye-catching gifts by including decorative door stops in your product range. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cheeky Bathroom Plungers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-plunger.md) - [Charming Avian Door Chimes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timbre-tori-door-chime.md) - [Funky Colorful Storage Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorful-storage-units.md) - [Playful Packaging-Inspired Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strawberry-milk-vase.md) - [Quirky Toilet Brushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-toilet-brush.md) - [Bright Whimsical Home Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blue-balcony.md) - [Aesthetic Bathroom Plungers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-plunger.md) - [Marker-Inspired Joint Tubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doob-tube.md) - [Colorful Resin Faucet Handles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chromablock.md)
