If you were a child or a really serious gamer during those times, then you know all about Pac-Man and VHS tapes. This table combines both to make a decidedly old school coffee table. For those that inexplicably have VS tapes still this would be the best way to use it. This table was out up for sale on [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scrabble-coffee-table) by seller MRQ19 and it uses the tapes white tape spool as dots for the game. While the table looks like more of a fun DIY project than anything else, it proves that you can literally make anything out of anything; in this case, that anything is VHS cassettes and tape. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Retro Gaming Decor:** Opportunity for businesses to capitalize on nostalgia by creating retro gaming-themed furniture. - **Upcycled Furniture:** Opportunity for businesses to repurpose old materials and create unique furniture pieces. - **Custom DIY Projects:** Opportunity for businesses to cater to the growing demand for personalized, handmade items. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for businesses in the home decor industry to offer unique, nostalgic pieces to customers. - **E-commerce:** Opportunity for online retailers to showcase and sell retro gaming-themed furniture. - **Crafting Supplies:** Opportunity for businesses that sell crafting supplies to target consumers interested in custom DIY projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Gaming Console Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-cart-coffe-table.md) - [Pillow-Like Gaming Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcade1up-pacman-couchcade.md) - [Board Game Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scrabble-coffee-table.md) - [Retro VHS Tape-Resembling Vase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vhs-tape.md) - [Gaming Console Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-fp-coffee-machine.md) - [Cartoon Glove Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/voila-coffee-table.md) - [Playing Cards-Inspired Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hito-table.md) - [Spinning Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-spinning-coffee-table.md) - [Board Game Furniture Innovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bandpass-design.md)
