The box features a weatherproof design that can be left out all year round and works by being connected to a door handle or other secure component. The unit will then go to work offering delivery persons a place to drop off packages before locking them inside thanks to a [locking mechanism on the exterior](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-door-lock).
