When creating the new home, he taps inspiration from southern Californian architecture themes. As a result, there are elements of industrial materials and [reflective subterranean pools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-rock). The home is on Oxford Avenue in Venice Beach, sitting on top of a triangular and rounded site. The main dwelling has four levels with the basement included and made with concrete, glass, and [raw copper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/copper-bottom). Royce explains that "Everything above ground was about maximizing the footprint. Below ground is where space mixed with drawing down natural light and ocean breezes."
