It was shown at the 'All Things Design' portion of the London Design festival, which ran from September 13-23. Ovetto is the Italian name for an egg. Since it was meant for recycling, the materials used for the Ovetto are recycled as well--[recycled polypropylene](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tray210), a material in carpeting and ropes. The bin is built with [three compartments for organization](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tronco). To easily identify the materials contained in each receptacle, appliqué stickers are included. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Sustainable Design:** Designing products with recycled materials to create stylish yet eco-friendly products, such as the Ovetto Recycling Bin. - **Efficient Recycling:** Creating products that make recycling easier and more efficient, such as the Ovetto Recycling Bin. - **Organized Waste Management:** Developing innovative waste management systems with compartmentalized bins for more organized waste management, like the Ovetto Recycling Bin. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** The use of the Ovetto Recycling Bin within interior design offers opportunities to incorporate stylish sustainability to living spaces. - **Environmental Services:** Environmental services can use products like the Ovetto Recycling Bin as a new tool to encourage more efficient and effective recycling and waste management within homes and offices. - **Consumer Goods:** Consumer goods manufacturers can use the design of the Ovetto Recycling Bin as inspiration for new product lines that appeal to environmentally conscious consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tipping Trash Can Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/niko-trash-bin.md) - [Rodent-Preventative Trash Bins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/group-project.md) - [Sustainably Constructed Garbage Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rubbish-bin.md) - [Modular Organization Garbage Bins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-garbage-bins.md) - [Customizable Garbage Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/totem-compact-unit.md) - [Chic Utilitarian Trash Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carden-the-twin.md) - [Adorable Public Rubbish Bins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/design-seoul-20.md) - [Artful Seaweed-Inspired Bin Magnets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-edition.md) - [Eco-Friendly Organized Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tronco.md)
