Land is hailed quite rightly as the "King of [Origami](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gami-collection)." A visit to his website shows just why, with gallery upon gallery of [amazing papercraft pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moleskine-and-issey-miyake). Best of all, the patterns for some of the works are available to download. But frankly, with the complexity of the [fold diagrams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fold-and-crease-extended) and the time it takes to finish each piece, I might as well be looking at a map of Mars! **Implications** - This product really stresses the importance of going back to the basics. Art can be created and adapted from something as simple as paper -- something everybody has access to. Businesses can profit on this paradigm shift into "credit crunch" products and innovations.
