# Reverse Outdoor Showers The VITEO Outdoor Shower Simulates a Rainstorm By M | Published 2014-06-02 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-shower References: [thegadgetflow](http://thegadgetflow.com/portfolio/viteo-shower/) & [outdoorshower.at](http://outdoorshower.at/showershop/) The VITEO cleverly merges the refreshing sensation of being caught in a rainstorm with a summer-friendly [outdoor shower](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alu). Unlike a conventional shower that sprinkles water on you from above, the VITEO shower uses your own body weight to release shower jets from underneath you. The VITEO is a small, compact and fun reverse shower system that is great for getting clean or cooling off outdoors. The VITEO comes with a round, floor mat shape that users are meant to step on in order to activate the shower. The VITEO has integrated pressure sensors that release jets of water whenever it feels a weight placed on it. The jets shoot up into the air quickly come back down in the form of rain-like droplets. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Reverse Outdoor Showers:** The VITEO Outdoor Shower Simulates a Rainstorm. - **Compact Outdoor Shower Systems:** The VITEO is a small, compact and fun reverse shower system that is great for getting clean or cooling off outdoors. - **Sensor-activated Shower Jets:** The VITEO has integrated pressure sensors that release jets of water whenever it feels a weight placed on it. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Furniture:** The VITEO outdoor shower can be integrated into outdoor furniture, offering a unique and refreshing experience for customers. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can enhance their outdoor amenities by installing reverse outdoor showers, providing guests with a unique and enjoyable way to cool off and relax. - **Water Conservation:** The sensor-activated shower jets of the VITEO can help promote water conservation by only releasing water when someone is using the shower, reducing waste. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Naturally Inspired Body Dryers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sumsei-air-shower.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Accessible Shower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-showers.md) - [Ice-Filled Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glacial-shower-shower-head.md) - [WiFi-Enabled Circular Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circular-shower.md) - [Air-Induction Showerheads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kohlers-statement-ves.md) - [Pressure-Sensitive Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-shower-concept.md) - [Closed-Loop Bathing Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upfall-shower.md) - [Modular Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zucchetti-bar-59-shower.md)
