Crafted from teak wood and Swietenia mahogany, the 'WoodCruise' has a circular design that makes it look almost like a hot tub. The interior space reveals a comfortable mattress base with [ergonomic cushions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/johannes-faurebrac) that enable people to sit upright without having to stack multiple cushions. Suitable for up to four people or as a haven for one, the 'WoodCruise' outdoor lounge is also designed with a rotating aesthetic that will gently provide movement when people are seated. This can be paired with a solar panel to power the movement or with a battery. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Circular Furniture Design:** Opportunity to create innovative furniture designs that encourage social interaction and connectivity. - **Communal Outdoor Living:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to develop products that foster community and meaningful connections in outdoor spaces. - **Sustainable Outdoor Furniture:** Potential for creating environmentally-friendly furniture solutions that integrate renewable energy sources for functionality. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity to incorporate circular designs and communal concepts into outdoor furniture offerings. - **Hospitality and Tourism:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to enhance outdoor spaces in hotels and resorts, attracting guests seeking communal experiences. - **Renewable Energy:** Potential for solar panel and battery integration in outdoor furniture to create functional, sustainable solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wooden Structural Outdoor Bedes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hut-lounge-bed.md) - [Elegant Exterior Lounge Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lounge-bed.md) - [Comtemporary Lounge Collection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eclipse-series.md) - [Sculptural Outdoor Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-outdoor-furniture.md) - [Shaded Modern Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-shelter.md) - [Rotating Solar-Powered Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-solarpowered-bench-that-spins-ever-so-slowly.md) - [Beachside Modern Daybed Setups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contour-daybed.md) - [Teak Wood Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saltholm.md) - [Modular Bulbous Lounge Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sundae-modular-lounge.md)
