Coming in four color options, the case has a [multi-layer design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dbrand-tank-case) that locks securely onto the device and will offer advanced protection from damage that could be incurred from daily use. As the name suggests, the case doesn't have a screen protector on it to let users enjoy a flawless touchscreen response experience that isn't possible with other varieties. A front frame bumper will prevent dirt and dust from reaching the interior to further protect devices from avoidable damage. The OtterBox Defender Series Screenless Edition Case also comes with a [removable holster](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stash-stand-case) to streamline storage and carrying. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Smartphone Protection:** Opportunity for companies to develop sleek and lightweight smartphone protectors that offer advanced protection without compromising style. - **Flawless Touchscreen Response:** Potential for innovative screen protectors that provide a seamless touchscreen experience without hindering functionality. - **Streamlined Storage and Carrying:** Room for improvement in the design of smartphone cases with integrated solutions for convenient storage and easy transportation. ### Who This Affects Most - **Consumer Electronics:** Companies specializing in consumer electronics can capitalize on the trend by creating minimalist smartphone protectors that cater to adventurers. - **Smartphone Accessories:** Opportunity for the smartphone accessory industry to develop new screen protector technologies that ensure flawless touchscreen response. - **Lifestyle and Fashion:** Fashion and lifestyle brands can explore collaborative partnerships with smartphone case manufacturers to create stylish and practical designs with integrated storage solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Camera-Compatible Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-case-series.md) - [Durable Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-16-cases.md) - [Protective Spring-Ready Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otterbox.md) - [Western-Inspired Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/western-noir.md) - [Rugged Modern Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rugged-protective-case.md) - [Sophisticated Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sophisticated-smartphone-case.md) - [Functional Protective Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-17-cases.md) - [Durable Modern Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aulumu.md) - [Multifunctional Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upro.md)
