I don't think there has been any other barstool that has looked so invitingly comfortable. I mean, just look at this [fluffy ball of tushy heaven](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rio-pouffe). Designed by Y. Tsai, the Ostrich Barstool is unlike anything I have ever seen before. Inspired by a recent ostrich ride, Tsai designed the barstool after the bird's proportions. Take a look at the Ostrich Barstool images above and I dare you to tell me you don't want a set of them. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Comfortable Seating:** The Ostrich Barstool highlights the trend for comfortable seating with its invitingly plush design. - **Inspired Design:** The Ostrich Barstool exemplifies the trend of designing furniture inspired by nature, in this case, the ostrich. - **Unique Proportions:** The Ostrich Barstool taps into the trend of creating furniture with unconventional proportions, offering a distinctive and eye-catching design. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can explore innovative seating solutions that prioritize comfort and unique design, inspired by natural elements. - **Hospitality:** The hospitality industry can consider incorporating the Ostrich Barstool in lounge areas and bars to offer guests a comfortable and visually striking seating option. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate the Ostrich Barstool into their projects to create cozy and aesthetically appealing spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bubble-Inspired Bulbous Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubble-stool.md) - [Horse-Inspired Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-falabella-stool.md) - [Saddle-Inspired Ergonomic Modern Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pepe-stool.md) - [Cozy Contemporary Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-bun.md) - [Sea Creature-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seat-urchin.md) - [Smart Bulbous Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buffo.md) - [Contemporary Rocking Pouffe Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/platero.md) - [Cozy Sheep-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flock-furniture.md) - [Active Sitting Cork Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ylin-stool.md)
