Teddy Schuyers is a designer who got diagnosed with the condition and in her graduation year at the [Design Academy Eindhoven](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chewing-gum-container), the creative decided to produce a version of the ostomy bag that addresses many of the difficulties that patients have with the aid. The new take on the ostomy bag boasts a two-part design -- a circular hydrocolloid base and the bag itself. The former is a mechanism that covers the stoma opening on the skin.
