Wings is an add-on for your laptop designed to make it easier to teleconference with multiple people at once. Wings attach to the back of your laptop and fold outward. Two screens are attached to each wing, meaning that you can talk with up to five people at once. While [Skype](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/panoramic-conference-camera) already lets you do group video conferences, each member is relegated to a tiny screen that takes up your entire window. With Oskar Santamaria's Wings, you can talk to up to five team members and still have complete access to your desktop. If you happen to not be using one of the wings for chatting, then it also functions as its own mini-computer complete with web browser. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/computers) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Multi-user Video Conferencing:** Opportunity to design new hardware and software products for multi-user video conferencing. - **Clip-on Devices:** Opportunity to develop clip-on devices for laptops or other devices that enhance the user's experience. - **Dual-screen Devices:** Opportunity to develop new devices with dual-screens for productivity and multitasking purposes. ### Where This Applies - **Technology:** Technology companies can benefit from developing new innovative products in the multi-user video conferencing and clip-on device spaces. - **Communication:** Communication companies can further develop their offerings for group video conferencing with the use of clip-on video screens. - **Design:** Design companies can innovate new clip-on devices with dual-screen functionality for improved productivity and ease of use. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Clip-On Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crowview.md) - [Centralized Webcam Display Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/veeo-t35.md) - [Sliding Laptop Display Extenders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/display-extender.md) - [Side-Mounted Laptop Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-pixels-trio-and-trio-max.md) - [Modular Quad-Display Laptop Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quanvizo-extendpro.md) - [Advanced Video Call Prototypes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-4.md) - [Spatial Video Communication Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wehead.md) - [Physical Video Call Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/virtual-meeting-controller.md) - [Triple Display Laptop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xebec-triscreen-2.md)
