Ornellaia, the renowned Italian winery from Bolgheri, has successfully concluded the charity auction for the 18th edition of its Vendemmia d'Artista project. As part of this initiative, the brand collaborates with contemporary artists to interpret the character of each vintage through unique label designs for large-format bottles.

The 2026 edition of the Vendemmia d'Artista project, themed 'La Vitalità' for the 2023 vintage, featured artistic interventions by Marina Abramović, whose work sought to capture the expressive force and dynamism of the wine. Ornellaia's online auction was conducted by Bonhams and attracted collectors from both the wine and art worlds. All in all, the venture raised $300,000 from the sale of these exclusive lots.

In a demonstration of its commitment to cultural patronage, Ornellaia will donate the entire proceeds to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation to support conservation and restoration programs for the 'Guggenheim Pop: 1960 to Now' exhibition.
