The coffee maker is constructed with the use of black and steel sheets along with wood, which gives it a somewhat furniture-inspired design perfect for placement in open-concept living spaces. This goes against the [traditionally industrial design of espresso makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grisbrew-espresso-maker), which are often all-metal. The Origin Espresso Machine is also equipped with a series of LED strips that run the length of the unit to light up the work area and on the rear to enhance the aesthetic.
