It boasts a minimal design language while celebrating the geometric art of Japanese origami. There are five modules that make up the series -- all of which can be used individually or configured together to cater to any room or space. Similar to the way that origami folds, the visual look of Ori have a pleated design aesthetic that evokes a calm theme through perfectly symmetrical looks from any angle. To create the system, designers started by folding paper models and then grew from there. To add support, it adds a wooden base to enhance the overall profile and focus on the complex silhouette.
