# Intimate Blush-Inducing Portaits The 'Orgasm' Portrait Series Captures Very Private Moments By Lacey-Jane Walsh | Published 2013-03-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orgasm-portraits References: [designlov](http://designlov.com/orgasmos-por-diego-beyro.html) The portrait series Orgasms' by artist Diego Beyro depicts men and women at their most vulnerable (yes,it’s exactly what it sounds like). This collection of portraits showcases the many different facial expressions people make during sex when they reach climax. In keeping with the intimate nature of these portraits, Beyro used a variety of different bed sheets in place of a canvas! The facial expressions in these portraits range from sexy to downright funny. 'Orgasms' takes a private, [taboo topic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toy-stories) and shoves it in your face in an amusing, lighthearted kind of way. Hung side-by-side on a clothes line, Beyro’s extremely personal portrait series certainly grabs your attention and holds it. Looking at these faces, you can’t help but smile! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Intimate Portraits:** Opportunity for photographers to capture vulnerable and authentic moments of individuals. - **Taboo Art:** Artists can explore unconventional subjects and challenge societal norms through their work. - **Expressive Photography:** Photographers can experiment with capturing a wide range of emotions and facial expressions in their portraits. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Photographers can use innovative techniques and subject matters to create unique and engaging artworks. - **Art:** Artists have the opportunity to push boundaries and spark conversations through their unconventional and provocative pieces. - **Entertainment:** The use of humor and lightheartedness in art can captivate and entertain audiences, creating new forms of artistic expression. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sexuality-Exploring Artful Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rude-arts-club.md) - [Raunchy Anime-Inspired Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manuela-soto-sosa.md) - [Celebratory Artist-Created NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nars-campaign.md) - [Health Object Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/out-of-orifice.md) - [Subversive Artist Massage Parlours](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elmgreen-dragset.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md)
