This pop-up bar and restaurant called [Boxpark](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oura-ring-5-athletes) is providing guests with the option to use drink-ordering apps. The restaurant will allow guests to use their smartphones and connect to [Instagram](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emoji-bot) to place their drink orders. Boxpark is using this existing social media platform to simplify the process.

The drink-ordering app works by connecting to the Boxpark on Instagram and posting a photo that is captioned with a hashtag of an emoji. The pop-up shop supplies menus that pair drinks with particular emojis, so guests can determine which emoji to hashtag. Some emoji drink options include the halo emoji, a palm tree, water, watermelon and the martini.

There are only a few options of emoji drinks to order, but none of them are truly alcoholic cocktails. The pop-up bar decided to serve mocktails during the trial run for this playful experiment.
