This project by Dot Architects is an example of how open-source architecture platforms are able to revolutionize and speed up the construction process. This specific project is located in rural China. The studio was tasked with completing the [Huaxia Star Library](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yellamundie) — a new addition to the Er-tai primary school.

For this, Dot Architects tapped WikiHouse — an open-source architecture platform that has seen a surge of popularity. The design of the library proved to be uncomplicated, cost-effective, and easy-to-assemble. The construction process took about seven days — a testimonial to how open-source architecture resources are allowing for transparency and time-efficiency.
