This open air hotel designed by Null Stern has almost none of the amenities that most hotel rooms do while providing the best possible location.

The [open air hotel room](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/missing-room) is in the middle of the [Swiss Alps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/altihut) and is 6,463 feet above sea level. The room consists of nothing but a stone platform on which a [queen sized bed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alphaline), floating bedside tables and two stools sit. The hotel room does not have a ceiling nor does it have walls, providing optimal views of the night time sky and the beautiful scenic mountains during the day. The hotel has a service in which a butler delivers the guests breakfast in bed and a public bathroom is a 10 minute walk from the room.

This hotel concept is a unique one and not one that everyone would enjoy, but its ability to provide some of the best views in the world in such a unique way makes it something worth trying.
