# Light Steel Outdoor Furniture The OP & Meridio Collection Comes in Monochromatic Colorways By Josh Thompson-Persaud | Published 2021-05-31 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/op-meridio-collection References: [hiro.design](https://hiro.design/collections/mario-alessiani) The OP & Meridio collection, developed by Italian designer Mario Alessiani for Hiro, features metal materials and monochromatic colorways. The two-piece collection consists of OP, a sleek stool, and Meridio, a collapsible side table. The OP & Meridio collection is made from steel and engineered to thrive in the outdoors. The stool has a rounded seat and tubular supporting structure that forms the sled legs and concludes neatly in the convenient carrying handle. The side table shares the stool's minimalist design philosophy with a thin tabletop and a single supporting pillar. The collection comes in numerous colors including Cornflower Blue, Cinnamon, Vanilla, and Terracotta. The pastel-like colorways offer a sense of simplicity and optimism to the OP & Meridio collection that contributes to an overall feeling of easy contentment. The OP & Meridio collection can be found on the HiroDesign website.
