Almost [translucent white marble](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-frammenti) with white veining running through it simply evokes pure luxury without going over the top into gaudiness. An intriguing shape makes the side table a dynamic design element that will make a beautiful impression without drawing too much attention to itself. Crisscrossed legs and a [semi-circular surface](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tong-side-table) provide a stable space for placing trinkets on display or for holding drinks and snacks. Incorporate the minimalist Onyx Marble Table into an all-white room or use it as contrast against black walls. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Translucent Marble:** Exploring the use of translucent marble in furniture design can provide an opportunity for creating unique and luxurious pieces. - **Minimalist Accent Tables:** Designing minimalist accent tables with intriguing shapes and dynamic elements can offer a stylish and functional addition to interior spaces. - **Contrasting Color Schemes:** Utilizing contrasting color schemes, such as white marble against black walls, can create visually striking and aesthetically pleasing interiors. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Incorporating translucent marble into furniture designs can provide a competitive edge and attract customers looking for innovative and luxurious pieces. - **Interior Design:** Offering minimalist accent tables as part of interior design services can cater to clients seeking modern and sophisticated spaces. - **Home Decor:** Marketing home decor products that facilitate contrasting color schemes can appeal to customers looking to create visually impactful interiors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cloudy Sunbeam Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunbeam-side-table.md) - [Statuesque Marble Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mawe-low-coffee-table.md) - [Simplistic Modern Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-davenport-drink-table.md) - [Artful Stone Table Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tom-black.md) - [Minimalist Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-coffee-table1.md) - [Raw Cast-Bronze Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corca-side-table.md) - [Architect-Inspired Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/norm-architects1.md) - [Sleek Rechargeable Marbled Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solid-table-light.md) - [Chic Stone Fragment Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skrivo-for-miniforms-pinto.md)
