Helle Mardahl, born in 1976, is a Copenhagen-based artist who blurs the boundaries of art and fashion.

She studied fashion design at [Central Saint Martins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/how-to-grow-a-refrigerator), a prestigious institution in London. Mardahl was also awarded “Statens Kunstfonds” (the state art fond), a three year working grant, providing her with the opportunity to work in the fields between [fashion, art, sculpture and installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes).

In 2006 she launched herself as an artist and no longer a fashion designer.

I can't wait to see what she does next
