In the past, Christopher has performed as everything from the Jackson 5 to Alice in Wonderland’s Red Queen, and now he has tackled the king of rock and roll Elvis Presley. This number consists of Christopher dressed in a life-sized, ventriloquist dummy-esque puppet costume that resembles Elvis Presley, down to the greased hair swirl and the white-rimmed glasses. Attached to this costume by four black bars are two other life-sized puppets, representing Elvis’s female backup dancers and singers. Christopher has rigged these puppets in such a way that his dance moves trigger movements in the other puppets, resulting in a highly [choreographed dance number](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dance-convention) to the famous tune ‘Viva Las Vegas.’ This hilarious act is definitely Vegas-ready. Its fun and [vibrant costumes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-dancer), professional caliber and pop culture references are sure to impress every Vegas audience member that passes by. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.3/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Pop Culture Puppet Dances:** There is an opportunity for entertainment companies to invest in pop culture puppet dances that feature one-man or one-woman acts in different themes. - **Interactive Ventriloquist Puppetry:** Companies can explore interactive ventriloquist puppetry that features one performer and multiple puppets, creating a highly choreographed dance number that can appeal to all ages and cultures. - **Comedy Puppet Dance Theater:** There is a niche opportunity for theaters to host shows featuring one-man puppet dances that are focused on comedy and pop culture themes, providing a unique and entertaining experience for audiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Entertainment:** Entertainment companies can leverage and monetize pop culture puppet dances, by investing in one-man or one-woman puppet dance acts with different themes to capture audiences' attention and provide unique experiences. - **Performing Arts:** Performing arts organizations can explore interactive ventriloquist puppetry in their programs, providing a highly choreographed dance number that can appeal to all ages and backgrounds, that can distinguish them from traditional performances. - **Comedy:** Comedy theaters can leverage the niche opportunity of hosting one-man puppet dance shows that focus on comedy and pop culture, providing a unique and entertaining experience that can distinguish their programming. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Elvis-Inspired Holiday Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-guest-house-at-graceland.md) - [Performance Art-Inspired Doughnuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blue-man-group-doughnuts.md) - [Interactive Bloclk Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dancing-hula-girl.md) - [All-Black Touring Burlesque Companies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touring-burlesque-company.md) - [Retro Singer Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elvis-presley-phone-case.md) - [Spooky Life-Size Animatronics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beetlejuice-character.md) - [Endurance Tap Dance Performances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/endurance-tap-dance.md) - [Pizza-Themed Music Videos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucha-little.md) - [Senior Cabaret Shows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/festival-of-chichester.md)
